WHAT DOES HE DO AFTER SCHOOL?
Most parents don't sign their son up for football because they dream of touchdowns. They do it because they want to watch him become someone: confident, disciplined, and part of something bigger than himself.
That's what Logan Youth Football is built for. Whether your son is brand new to the game or already loves it, we meet him where he is and help him take the next step.

THREE THINGS WE BUILD EVERY DAY
Football is the tool. These are the goals.

DISCIPLINE
Every practice starts the same way. Coach calls "Black," and nobody moves. Players learn to listen, focus, and do the small things right: on the field, in class, and at home.

BROTHERHOOD
Rookies and eighth graders. Linemen and running backs. Kids from every corner of Logan. Our players learn to trust each other, lift each other up, and never leave a teammate behind.

CHARACTER
We win with class and lose with class. Players learn to respect coaches, officials, and opponents, and to get back up after a hard hit.
PROGRAMS
A TEAM FOR EVERY GRADE
We play in the Wasatch Front Football League (WFFL), Region 3. Players are grouped by grade, with weight limits that keep the game fair and safe. Teams form each summer based on sign-ups.
GRADES 2–3
JR MITE
Rookie tackle: a smaller field, fewer players, and more touches. The perfect first season.
GRADE 4
MITEY MITE
Fundamentals first: stance, footwork, safe tackling, and learning every position.
GRADE 5
JR PEE WEE
A bigger playbook, with the same focus on technique, effort, and teamwork.
GRADE 6
PEE WEE
Full-field football with more speed and more responsibility.
GRADE 7
SR PEE WEE
Game-ready skills and leadership. Older players start to set the tone.
GRADE 8
JR BANTAM
The last step before high school, built to get players ready for Logan High.
SPRING CAMP 2027

Spring Camp is where Logan kids learn the basics before the season. No pads and no pressure: just stance, footwork, safe tackling form, and a lot of fun.

SAFETY FIRST
SAFETY IS THE FIRST PLAY WE RUN.
Football has risk, and we take it seriously. Here is how we protect your son:
✓ Every coach is background-checked and trained through USA Football.
✓ The first five days of practice are helmets only. No contact while players get in shape.
✓ Full contact is limited to two days a week, and players are matched by size in drills.
✓ We teach safe tackling form at every single practice.
✓ Any sign of a head injury means the player sits out right away. He returns only with written clearance from a medical provider, as Utah law requires.
✓ Water breaks are built into every practice.

THE LOGAN TRADITION
IT ALL STARTED WITH TRYING A HELMET ON.
Logan High football has won eight state championships and sent players to the NFL, from Merlin Olsen to Chris Cooley and Luke Falk. Every one of those stories started the same way: a kid, a helmet, and a coach who believed in him.
Today, our youth teams play home games at Logan High's Favero Field, the same field where the Grizzlies play on Friday nights.

A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR
WELCOME, GRIZZLY FAMILIES.
Welcome to Logan Youth Football.
I became director in late 2025 with one simple goal: build this program the right way. That means good coaching, safe practices, and a team where every kid matters, from the youngest rookie to the eighth-grade captain.
Our coaches give up their evenings and Saturdays because they believe in your kids. We teach the game, and we send home young men who work hard, show respect, and look out for each other.
